The Araliya philosophy is to serve contemporary dishes drawing from high quality local ingredients and infused with the spices for which Sri Lanka is well known: coriander, cumin, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Sam creates his own recipes, refining the cuisine he was born into with the best of ingredients and every dish that comes out of his kitchen is of the best possible quality.

Big fans of the amazing quality Sri Lankan fare that Sam and Dee serve. We used to know their St Kilda venue - first time to the Kew venue and very impressed! It was a fairly quiet Saturday night (first week of back to school). The food, wine and service was absolutely terrific! We will be back. Highly recommend the egg hopper to start, chicken curry, and jaggery beef dishes. Yum!

The fusion of Sri Lankan flavors with modern twists creates a truly unique dining experience. The dishes are vibrant, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Sam puts so much thought into his dishes, meticulously crafting them with clean, consistent flavors every time. We celebrated our mom’s birthday here, and she absolutely loved it. The service from the manager was both friendly, attentive and professional, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend!

"ALL AROUND LOVELY EXPEREINCE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND"
My husband and I came for dinner and had a lovely evening! As soon as you walk in, the smells were delicious and made us instantly hungry. The staff were attentive and super nice and the decor/ambience was tasteful and calming.
We had the six course tasting menu which was absolutely delicious and very well presented - tried some new dishes we’d never had before and they were all very flavoursome. It was very filling as well, we definitely did not need any more food.
