The Araliya philosophy is to serve contemporary dishes drawing from high quality local ingredients and infused with the spices for which Sri Lanka is well known: coriander, cumin, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Big fans of the amazing quality Sri Lankan fare that Sam and Dee serve. We used to know their St Kilda venue - first time to the Kew venue and very impressed! It was a fairly quiet Saturday night (first week of back to school). The food, wine and service was absolutely terrific! We will be back. Highly recommend the egg hopper to start, chicken curry, and jaggery beef dishes. Yum!
